Anyone had surgery in Dothan?

I have a seminar coming up in Dothan on 8/8/09 with Dr. Robbins.  Just wondering what procedures does he do and is he recommended?  Have not decided what type of surgery I am wanting.  Let me know what you picked and why and if you would do it again?

I used Dr. Robbins three years ago. I am not sure what he does now, but I believe he only does the lap band. I had RNY. I absolutely love him and would highly recommend his office. I know things have changed a lot in the last three years, but I say go through the seminar and see what he says. It is a personal choice about the type of surgery you choose.

I love Dr. Robbins!! He did not do my surgery, but after my surgeon completely dropped the ball on me and my aftercare, Dr. Robbins picked up. He's done two surgeries on me and he's also my mom and dad's doctor for the things he does besides WLS. Dr. Robbins is one of those doctors that I love and feel like I can talk candidly about anything to. At first he seemed kind of too busy to sit down and talk, but after I made it clear to him that I needed some one-on-one time to talk about other things than my bloodwork, he sat down and listened and continues too. I think you'll like him. Give his seminar a chance!
