My Dr's visit

I know most of you have gone to bed by now but we just got in from Mobile.  Not such good news from the Dr.  I have to have surgery on my foot.  He showed me about how much he is going to take out.  It is about the size of a half dollar.  He said I will have to have a skin graft because there will not be any skin to close it up.   He said he would get the skin from my leg to graft.  He also said I would be out of work 2 weeks and have to have home health come to change the dressings.  I sure did not see this coming at all.  I am a bit emotional.  Maybe that is the reason I have worked so hard to bring our board back to life.  I need my friends to give me support now.  I have begun to look forward to hearing from all of you each day.  You are truly my family and I needed to get home and tell you about this.  Thank you for being here for me.  I love you all.

Debbie I am so sorry that you are having to go thru this.  Those foot surgeries is by no means any fun.  I am so glad that you went to the doctor and found this out before it got any worse.  Did he tell you that you would be off your foot and on crutches for the 2 weeks?  When is your surgery?

Hi Louise.  My surgery is Aug. 11.  He wanted to do it next week but that is our institute days and inservice for the beginning of school.  I don't need to miss that.  So it will be the following week.  He did tell me that my foot would be very painful and I would not want to be on it.  He did not mention crutches but I wondered if I may have to use them.  Won't we be a site!!  Jimmy in his wheelchair and me on crutches.  I may just push him out of his chair and take it over!!

Hey Ellen girl.  I do know that fellow named Scott!!  I have not seen them in 2 weeks.  They have been gone that long.  I will see them tomorrow in Brewton.  We start revival there and they are going to be there also.

I will be fine.  Just keep on praying for me!!

What type surgery are you having ? I am sorry if I missed it and you already posted it.

Never mind Debbie, I went back and found it ,, I am so sorry ,, I will be praying that this surgery will fix you right up good as new ..   Two weeks wont be forever and you will be good as ever maybe better ..
