Walk from Obesity

The Alabama Walk from Obesity will be September 26 at Regions Park in Hoover Ala. The walk will start at 8 am with registration starting at 7am.  If you did not get to meet Colleen Cook and get one of her books last year, she will be at the Ala walk.  The books is $20 and we will have some of Chef Dave's cookbooks this year.  They are also $20.  You can go to www.walkfromobesity.com and join a team.  With the registration fee you will receive a T shirt.  Last year we were # 3 in the nation in fundraising.  This year lets be #1 in fundraising and attendance.  I challenge each and ever one of you to join the walk from obesity. 

Will all the Alabama Groups walk together?  Which group are most joining?  I want to talk to Lucy today about the walk.  I may not can walk far, but I sure want to give it a try!  I believe God will surprise me and give my legs strength!

The walk is for the whole state of Alabama.  All the groups will walk at the same time.  This year we are having some groups from the South Alabama area and some groups from the North.  All the groups have not signed up on the site yet.  In fact I have not signed up.  We are real excited about the walk, we were # 3 in the nation last year and hope to be #1 this year.  Hope to see you and Lucy at the walk.
