Today my daddy would have been 105 if he was living.  He had children when he should have been having grands.  He has been deceased for 28 years.  Miss him still and wish he was here to see the great grands.  My Jay was his first grand and he was spoiled rotten.Miss you Daddy.

How Sweet.  I hope that long after I am gone, that my children & grandchildren think of me like this.  Not that I want them to mourn me but hope that they smile and have good memories of me.

We recently went to a birthday party for my husbands uncle who would have been 100.  He has been gone for 10-15 years, but had his children later in life. His wife had passed away about a year ago. But  they are my age and younger.  One of his daughters had completely redone the old farmhouse that he lived in.  So it was a combination BD party for him and an open house.  I thought it was so nice of them to have done that.  Too often we forget to celebrate someone's life  after they are gone.

Know your dad must have been a good parent,  Lindy
