Doctors visit

Went to my PC doctor today. Today was the first time I've seen her since I've been dianosted with thyroid cancer. She ask me if I was sure I had surgery. I told her I was pretty sure. I do have a lot of brain fog but I think I remember having two different surgeries and three days in the hospital having radiation iodine treatments. She said the reason she ask was because my surgeon did such a wonderful job thay you can't even see my scar. And I am doing fantastic and she is so proud of me. I told her the only thing wrong with me was a sore shoulder. I've dislocated it trying to pat myself on the back. I'm feeling good and my energy level is picking up.
After my doctors visit I met my son for supper. Today would have been my husband birthday. So my son took me out to supper. I had a good time but I'm ready for bed. I'm tired and I've got a good book started. Everyone have a good night. Love, Miss Mary

Yay for you Miss Mary! Glad you had a good check up. And hey, you better start using that other hand to pay yourself on the back, don't want to wear out that shoulder. LOL

Oh no Mary you went to the air head doctor I have been using.    I'm happy you are feeling better.  We miss you.  The babies keep asking about you.  I tell them you are busy doing good work for other people.     Have a wonderful weekend.  I'm going to see if I can get sleeping beauty to help clean this house.

I can really tell I'm doing better. When I feel good I bake. I've baked old fashion tea cakes, fresh peach cobbler, apple cake and grandmas egg custard pie. All with Splenda. I have given it all away. And surprise, surprise nobody has died yet.
I miss my babies. They are so well behaved. Not like my babies. I still haven't found my run away. All the kids in the neighborhood are looking out for him.

I am so glad you had a good report!  That's great about the scar.  I scar so badly...if I scratch a mosquito bite I end up with an ugly red scar on this pale skin of mine!!

Now we don't want your shoulder hurting...so I think you need you own personal back patter.  You live close to Glen and Randall.  Maybe they could take turns!  Just a thought!!

That was very nice of Shannon to take you out to dinner on your late husband's birthday.  You were able to celebrate the life of someone you loved very much.  He must have
been raised by a very wonderful mother...but your secret is safe with me.  I won't tell anyone how wonderful you are!!!

I sit with a lady and she told me the other day that she was worried. We are so much alike she's afraid Shannon is going to start calling her Mother. When I told Shannon that he acted like he was crying( I think he was acting) and said he knew this world could not handle two of his Mother. He said he has nightmares that he's suspose to be taking care of me and he can't catch me. Then he said "Oh no, it's not a nightmare." Just for those unkind words when he's off work Monday he's taking me shopping. I'll teach the ungrateful brat a lesson.
