1. Results--still love my DW after 35 years.  Got to work at making a marriage last though.  Got to hang in there during the good times and bad--and there will be both.

2. Lost 69 pounds first two months.  I know it also takes work to make WLS work and intend to hang in through the good times and bad.  I know there will be both.

Have a blessed day from the man from Tennessee--the Volfan-in-Alabama.

Congratulations on the anniversary and the WLS anniversary.  With both you should be so thrilled.  I am so happy for you and yes...you have to work at a marriage.  It does not just work itself out.  You ahve an awesome day.

Thank you Carmen--all the marriage credit should go to my wife--i think when she gets to heaven she will be eligible for sainthood for putting up with me.  As for the weight loss--I have to give credit to Dr. Miles, Veronica (The Bariatric Coordinator), and of course--all my friends on OH for all their help, advice and encouragement.

Thanks so much for your words of encouragement--you have been an inspiration.  I look forward to the time my weight has been lost and I can git rid of "excess' skin.

Very wise words!  You must be a wise man!

I agree with both observations!!

I have been married 38 years to the same man and I still love him and we have had to work at it too...through both good and bad times and there have been both!!!

I had open RNY almost 5 years ago, in October and I had had to work at it and there have been both good and bad times with that too.  I haven't always done what I should have and when I didn't, I paid for it...but I have hung in there and I am losing the weight that I regained....

You have been a real inspiration to this board and a welcome addition!!  Thank you for your inspiration and your humor...I appreciate them both!

Happy belated anniversary and two month surgiversary!!
