Sunday Hugs!!!

 Sending out hugs on this awesome Sunday morning.  I pray that you all have a great day.  Please remember those hurting.  There are so many who have lost jobs, who are sick, who are hurting emotionally, and in many other ways.  It only takes a minute to send out a prayer for someone.  God hears us all.  I love you all!!!!!   


Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves.  Do what it says.   (James 1:22)

For years, I went to church and listened to the Word.  I did not pay attention and did not study it for myself.  I would sit in church and keep a watch on the clock because I wanted to leave.  Yep...that's awful.  I did not go to receive, I did not go to get a blessing, I went because it was just something I was suppose to do.  I was deceiving myself.  I was doing my duty.  God changed my thinking, though.  Now I go to receive, I go expecting and I get blessed and I receive from God.  We should do what the Word says.  We should obey God.   We will be so blessed.   Oh what a thrill to actually serve a living God who hears and answers.  There are two essentials to truly knowing God:  we must pray, actually talk to Him and we must read His Word.  I was so surprised at the things I learned after being in church all those years, but never really knowing God.

Hello Phyllis my friend.  Did you finish your book?  I know if Miss Mary was reading it she would have!!!  It takes her about as long to read the entire book as it takes me to read 3 chapters.  And I love to read!!

Morning Debbie!

I can only laugh at you asking if I've finished the book. I started it yesterday morning and got thorugh chapter 1 before needing a short nap. After lunch I did manage to get through chapters 2 and 3 before getting sleepy again. At this point I'll have it finsihed by the end of the year, and will be fully rested! LOL Miss Mary and her reading skills ROCK!  I have a hard time sitting still long enough to finish a book fast. 

Rich got home about 4am this morning!!! He had planned on leaving this morning but decided to leave last night since it was cooler and would be less traffic. Plus I think he missed me and being home :)
It's nothing unusual for us to travel during the night time hours so I wasn't really surprised when he called and told me he was on his way. I'm so happy he's home!

Thank you so much Phyllis.  She is home and doing better.  I sure do appreciate your prayers.  I love you!!!

Oh Lisa, that is so sweet!!!  We must have been on your mind because we are in the middle of the most awesome revival I have ever been in.  We started Thrusday night in Repton Alabama.  We are in a black church and they know how to have church.  We did Thursday night and Friday night. Saturday night we omitted service because of illiness in the pastor's family.  We went to a singing with our son Scott and his wife.  Another wonderful service.  Today we go back to Repton then tonight we are in a church in Brewton.  Tomorrow is our 37th anniversary and the boys are taking us out to eat in Gulf Shores.  We will be off Tuesday and then we start another revival in Toxey Alabama.  I love it, I love it, I love it!!!
I am so glad God will put us in the minds and on the hearts of our brothers and sisters because I know that you not only thought of us, you prayed for us!!!
I love you my sister.  Tell Joe hello for us!!!

Good morning Carmen!!!  You know the song "I Wish You Were Here".  Well I could sing that to you this morning.  I know the song was talking about Heaven but I wish you could be in this Revival with us.  I need to have some time to sit down and just tell you all about it!!  It have been awesome.

Oh Debbie...I wish I could have been with y'all too.  Our pastor had a very unusual service that was awesome today.  He had watched a DVD by an evangelist named Louie Giglio.  He was going to try to preach on the message he had heard from him.  He said it changed his life.  Anyway....He played the sermon for us today and OH MY...it was awesome.  It did make me look at things in a totally different perspective.  The title of the message was "How Big is our God".  I came home and I have ordered that sermon.  Oh my...He is awesome!!!!!  I love y'all and I am so thrilled and thankful that you have been blessed.  I really really want to hear from you about the services.
