OT, Anybody live in Birmingham, Alabama?

I just got a job in Lincolon Alabama, right outside of Birmingham, Ala
Do you know anything about the area, Schools that are good areas of Birmingham to look for housing? Extended stay.

I don't live in Lincoln, but I do live in Anniston.  I can't tell you anything about the schools either.  About housing you might want to look in Oxford.  You can get on the interstate and be to Lincoln in about 15 to 20 minutes.  My husband worked out of Lincoln before he retired from his job and we live in Anniston.  Lots of houses in the Anniston Oxford area.  I can give you the name of a real estate lady if you would like.

My children went to school and graduated from Lincoln.  2 are electricians, 1 is a nurse, and 1 is a tank computer person at the depot.  The schools to me are as good as any.  But I also believe that education has to be taught at home also.  If I can answer any questions, just shoot me an email at [email protected] and I will be glad to answer anything you might need answers to or help you find the answers.  Like I said...I love where I live and I think it is an awesome little community with the exception of 2 weekends a year....when NASCAR arrives LOL.  Just let me know if you need anything.
