Saturday hugs!!

Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.  Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.  (Romans 4:7-8)


If we have believed and asked for forgiveness, our sins are covered and they are gone.  They will never be brought up by God again.  We may bring them up, but He has forgotten them.  Isn't it awesome that God can forgive all the many things we have done against Him.  Wouldn't
 it be great if we as humans could do the same.

God's forgiveness is so wonderful.  Thank you for this reminder ... and the reminder to use that experience to be generous in forgiving others.  :-)

This thought has intrigued me for a long time--the ability to forgive and forget is truly a God trait.  Imagine--you pray today for forgiveness of your sin and God forgives.  Tomorrow you go to him again and mention your past sin and God says, "I don't know what you are talking about." 

He has no recollection of that sin because he has forgiven and thrown it into the sea of forgetfulness.

You are so right--if we could just be the same.
