Dr. says she has a torn rotator cuff (?). please keep praying for her. this wreck has her shoulder in a mess. letting my chauffeur drive us home. love you all. she should be home in a few. we will be home from Atlanta by 10. I am pooped. LOL

Both of mine are torn. Think twice before a surgical fix... Email me if you want my 2 cents. I have a total of 5 tears torn 50% or more between both shoulders, and will live with it...

I do hope she is well though.

My only suggestion is that you check into Alabama Sports Medicine in Birmingham and get Dr. Andrews to do the job.  He is not any more expensive than the others and he does them many times per week.  Philip has both of his done there and they were a mess.  Best thing he ever did.  Had about four bandaids and even got pictures.

OUCH......Really check into the surgery aspect. I know someone that had surgey and they said they wish they wouldn't of gotten it.....Prayers going up for Lucy....

WOW no wonder she is in pain. I agree with Karla about Dr Andrews. I've never used him however he is originally from Columbus (his practice) and was a vital part of the Hughston Orthopedic CLinic which is known world wide. His leaving the clinic was as devestating to the clinic as when Dr Hughston himself died.
Whatever path you all decide to take know I"m praying for you!

I feel for her. Mine wasnt torn but was impinged and later froze. It was no fun and takes a long time to get over.
