Visiting, it's been awhile AND weight gain postop
I'm combining these 2 threads because they are interrelated.
Hi guys, been awhile. Pam Kirk found me on Facebook and posted and so I thought I'd come and drop by for a visit.
I've gained a lot of weight after losing a whole lot of weight. I'm not back up to preop yet but if I don't do something I'm sure it's possible I'll get there.
I'm trying to remember and revisit the things I did as a new postop but it seems so far away and long ago.
I avoid the meetings and group get togethers because I am simply embarrassed by what has happened. I know hiding doesn't help, if anything lack of support is contributing to my failure.
Don't give me a swift kick in the ass, I honestly don't need tough love right now. I need understanding and compassion. My husband just deployed, I've got 3 kids, I'm on disability, things are just plain tough.

Hi Holly,
So glad Pam found you. I cannot even imagine what you're going through with your husband away and raising three kids, but I know the stress has to be there. Don't beat yourself up, don't be down on yourself, just take one day at a time doing what you can even if it's a little bitty step to getting back on track. Please post here and we will help support you!
