Walk from Obesity

The date has been set for the Walk from Obesity in Ala so lets mark our calendar and turn out for the walk.  September 26 at Regions Park in Hoover.   Last year Ala was # 3 in the nation for most money raised.   The Ala Bariatric Cordinators is again sponsoring the walk. Colleen Cook will be with us again this year.  You can get one of her books from any of the Bariatric Cordinators.   If you are not in a support group and would like one of her books if you will PM me I will  send you the info with the price and how to get one.   Watch  for more info to be posted about the walk.

This looks like a cool event .. didn't even know such a thing existed.  I signed up for the newsletter and hopefully with the move, the end of Sept will be a good time to walk.  :-)

I sure hope to be there.  Is Colleen going to do the thing the night before the walk?

I am not sure.  Details are still be worked on by the cordinators.  Will know more at the next meeting.  I do know that more activities are being planned for the morning of the walk.
