Cell Phones

I just found this out thru the VVA yahoo group and thought that I would pass it along to you all. If you have a picture military ID card and show it to your cell phone user you may entitled to a discount on your cell phone.  I verified this yesterday with my cell carrier  which is Verizon and they will honor the discount.  Being as my cell # is listed under Bobby and I did not have his card with me I could not add the discount.  I had my card in my name but that was not good enough.  For all you past military people on OH that did not know about the discount check it out.  I can always find a way to spend the money and I know that you can to.

This is a good reminder for a couple of reasons:

1) It is always important to keep a military id current

2) It is always good to ask if there is a military discount - for instance, most hotels have one, Home Depot and Lowes always give 10 to 15% off, and so on.
