Anybody from the Brantley area?

I'm not from Alabama but I have some friends who are getting ready to move to Brantley and was wondering if there was anybody here that was from the area?  These friends will be the new pastor/family at Brantlet UMC and I am going to miss them something fierce!

Hi danger-mouse.  It is so nice of you to think of your friends.  I have no idea where Brantley is so I guess it is not near me.  The one thing about the Bama Board is that there is no distance in friendship.  We are friends and family from the very southern part to the very northern part of this state.  We will be so glad to welcome your friend with open arms....and by the way, you as well.  Come visit often!!

Hi Mousey.  I JUST MOVED AWAY from the Brantley area.  My daughter went to brantley school.  The school system there is the best.  Teachers are great and staff are great.  Only complaint is they teach with what they have which, since we have moved, we see was MINIMAL!  VERY MINIMAL!!  The town is close knit and everyone knows everyone and keeps up with the happenings of everyone.  This person will enjoy it, especially being the new Pastor of the UMC.  It is a nice church and they just recently added a new addition to the church.  Hope this helps.  I know you will miss them, but Brantley will take good care of them.
