Fathers Day

I'm just glad to be alive, healthy, and have all of you as my friends!  To all Dads, Have a blessed and HAPPY Father's Day!  Lucy and I are in bed, sore, but  alive and happy!
 

Torey made it to California.  He called about 20 minutes ago.  Thank you for your prayers.  The girl's mom is so very nice and Shawna is sweet as she can be

Heyya!  Hope all is well with you!
Just a little update on Olivia and the baby. ~
Ultrasound #2 is scheduled for July 3 with the OB-GYN specialist, so we may "know" what Olivia is having then...if not, Ultrasound #3 is scheduled for July 17 with the regular OB-GYN for the anatomy work-up of the baby.  We may "know" then. 
Surely to goodness that little stinker should participate and let us "see" her in all her glory, so we will "know" what she is! 
If it is a SHE, she will be Evalyn Nicole and if it is a HE, he will be Aiden ? (undetermined at this point).
Grandma (me) thinks the baby is a SHE!
So, what is new in your world Carolyn~???

Not much new here. Still working lot of hours
and trying to survive the HEAT! Geez--we had no
spring and SUMMER is here with a vengance. All you
have to do is go outside and you will SWEAT!

How is life in Pensacola? I still feel the need for a road trip sometime in the future. MISS MARY---are you listening????

I am thinking it does not matter what this baby is--it is going to be spoiled! And that is ok, spoiled is good, brat is bad! Olivia is living with you--right? I don't see you ever wanting her to leave once a baby comes home. I know you and Tim have to be more than excited about this little bundle of joy. What does Jessie think?

You are correct...it doesn't matter if it is a boy, a girl...whatever!  It will be LOVED, LOVED, LOVED!!!!  I have my reasons for WHY I think the baby is a girl.  Watch for a PM from me...I'll explain!  I could be wrong, for I am human, but I am USUALLY correct! 
And us, having a brat?  huh...you don't know me very well then!  We BELIEVE in discipline in our household and I brought Olivia up the same way!  Albert was brought up with strict rules/discipline too. 
Yes, Olivia and Albert are living with us.  They will be here until they move out after the baby is born.  As hard as it will be on me, they will leave and get their own place.
Jessie is excited.  She lays down next to Olivia and reads books to the baby.  She also rubs Olivia's barely showing belly!  Jessie tells everyone that her sister is having a baby in December.  lol 
We LOVE living in Pensacola!  You and Aunt Mary, come on down!  It is @ 5 1/2 - 6 hours away from Huntsville.  Aunt Mary will fall in LOVE with our Thrift Stores down here! 

Hey my friend.  Lucy and I were on our way to pick up a few thihgs in h'ville Thursday night.  A truck pulled out in front of us and was across the lines.  Said he didin't see us, but gave the officer a statement saying  we were about 50 feet from him and he thought he could make it.  BIG mistake!  I swerved to miss him.  If I hadn't, we would have went under his truck or his daughter would have lost her life or been severly hurt.  We hit a cuvlert head on and the car riocheted on to the  passenger side and Lucy took teh blunt farce trauam.  She is in so much pan.  My shhoulders and hips are so but hank you God ew are alive!

Torey is in California meeting the fammiyl fo a girlf he has been talking to.  She is very sweet and polite.  She just needs to get saved and moved to Guntersvill, AL   Thi si GOD'S country up here!  :Love

WOW! I am glad you guys came out of the accident ok. I know you are banged up and hurting, but it could have been so much worse. Where did this happen at?
Did you end up in Huntsville ER? You know, I am right
here and you guys can always call if you need me.
Hopefully Lucy will get some relief from the pain soon. If not, take her back to be checked again. There are fractures that don't show up on initial X-rays but that can be seen later. That shoulder pain may well be from the seat belt.

Torey in California---that is quiet a trip to meet someone you have been "talking" to. She must have sparked his interest. Did he fly out or did he drive. That is a long trip. Better be careful or he will be moving to California--and I know you are not going to
leave "God's Country" to go there! I am so glad that you and Lucy are liking North Alablama.

We all need to get together soon for lunch or dinner or just to talk.

Lucy and I were in a bad car accident only 2 miles from the Hunts Hosp. down in the cove.  A truck pulled out in front of us.  THANK GOD FOR HIS DIVINE PROTECTION!  We are beat up from the feet up, but we are mending.  Torey has been talking to this girl for a year and the entire time, I thought he was liking her 14 year old cousin.  I feel like a heel.  The girl is 18 and VERY smart and has awesome parents that lay down rules and law.  He talks to her every night.  She came here last time(well, to Luverne) so he went there this time.  If long distance at their age is handled, then who am I to say it won't work?  Look at Lucy and I.

Praying for Torey and his trip. Be proud of him for his courage to do something he's never done before (and by himself at that!) and of his sense of adventure! You've done a great job of raising him, he just has to find his own way in life now.
