Plastics question

I had an internal stitch pop thru the other day and i pulled it out.  Didnt hurt or anything.  Is this good or bad.

did you have more plastics?? 

Im not sure to be honest with you. Ive never had plastics, yet! Hopefully someone else can answer!

I havent had any more plastics.  This is from my breast surgery.

I had one of those pop thru, weeks after I'd gotten all staples & such removed.  I just kept an eye on it, and since it never seemed to turn red or get sore, I assumed it healed on its own.  I'd say keep an eye on it and call the doc if you see anything 'unusual'.

The stitches on the outside dissolved.  So i kept feeling something grabing at my sports bra.  I got to looking and saw the stitch and pulled at it a little and it came on thru.  I had a small hole but it was all healed up in two days.  I go back to see the Dr on July 2nd anyway so i might ask him about it.

I had several of those and it was all okay.  Either they or I cut them when it happened.

Ive had a couple from my arm do this, the Dr just trimmed them and said it could take 6 months to dissolve and some times it just happens.

days after my abdominoplasty, several stitches just popped out.  i think it may be normal. when i went back to the PS, he just pulled them all out anyway.   But be safe and ask your surgeon.

Is it poking you? I had those too, The Dr would just use some sterile tweezers & pull it & snip it & remove it. Keep an eye on in. Wouldn't hurt to wipe some alcohol on it when ya think about it. I still have 1 right under the skin, it doesn't poke, but I can see it!

If you are still unsure bout it, ya might call your surgeon & just ask.
