My Drains are GONE!!!!!!

Thank you JESUS!! My drains were removed this morning and I am already walking better, feeling better and even eating better. How amazing is that? I think the drains were grossing me out and I was having to force myself to eat and then not but a couple of bites at the time. I just ate almost the entire inside of an Arbys sandwich..wooohooo...and will eat the other part a little later on.
Doc says I'm right on track as far as my healing, just need to begin eating more. (Even with the swelling I'm now only 3 lbs away from surgery weight minus amount of lbs he took off. )
I was draining so little there was no need to keep them in even though he warned I may have a little seepage through the drain holes. That, I can deal with!!! 
It was the first  time I had got dressed since surgery and my Mom was astounded when I put my dress on. She kept saying I was so skinny and Rich said he was going to have to get a big stick to keep the men away now. LOL Don't know 'about all that but I did feel good to hear it even though I don't quite see it yet because I still had a little swelling, and a tshirt and a binder all under the dress. 
I'm pleased, life is good!

I am so glad!!!!  I felt bad really being a downer yesterday, but I just wanted you to be prepared!!  Glad it worked out!!!  I know you'll feel better sleeping and showering.

Don't feel bad I didn't take it as a downer at all! I knew from the PS forum that it was an aggesive schedule. I am just SOOO glad to have them out. I feel somewhat normal again!

It sounds like you are jumping for joy, but since you are still recuperating from surgery, I will do it for you! 

I can't wait to see pictures of you.  It looks like you lost 15lbs according to your signature line?  Is that right? 

I am such a baby too when it comes to drains.  I can't even imagine!  I get squeamish (sp) just thinking about it!!  I have been losing what I had gained and the belly starting to droop again.  It's just so hard to pull it up and hide it!!!  But, I'm alive and I can walk, run (sorta - I'm still 55 ) LOL and breathe at the same time!!!

I am proud of you and proud for you.  Keep up the good work and I know you will continue to heal quickly because you right Praise the Lord and give God the glory.
