Whatcha Eating Today?
Oh Hilary, I love me some meatloaf from Cracker Barrell. Sounds delish!
Today was the best day in many and only because I know being tired is what I should expect. Weird, but okay.
Here's the damage:
B: protein bar
S: none
L: 2 oz chicken breast, 1/2 C mashed taters
S: protein bar
D: 3 slices co-jack cheese
S: probably a sf popsicle

Hi Hillary,
This has been a CRAZY day!! I didn't get to stop for a regular lunch break 'cause I was so busy today.
B - Great Value NSA/FF Black Cherry Yogurt w/about 2 TBSP Great Value Nuggets (Walmart Grape Nuts)
S - a couple of peppermints
L - Missed
S - about 3:30 pm Peach Yogurt and 2 TBSP Nuggets (see B)
D - left over chicken breast (about 2 oz) grill last night with about 1/2 cup of yellow squash and vidalia onions stewed (also leftover from last night) with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter - Zero calorie spray
S - Cheese Puffs = 2 3/8 oz bag (2.5 servings) BAD!!!
I am sucking on hard candy to keep from wanting to snack.
I went to Dr. last week and found out that I weight 212lbs on his scales 6 months ago and I weight 192 on Thursday of last week. That's 20 lbs lost in 6 months...yay me!!! Actually I had gained about 6 lbs after that appointment. So I've actually lost 26 lbs. At the gynecologist Monday, I weighed 190 lbs...another 2!!! 180 lbs here I come. I weigh 188 on my digital scales which are always the same as my WL surgeons. I haven't been to see him in over a year. I plan to make an appointment for October...my 5 year surgiversary is Oct 11.
Thanks for this post Hillary! Sounds like you did great today!!!

that is so awesome! Way to go on the losing weight!!! This is the hardest part.. really. Im trying so hard to lose my regained weight. I myself gained up to around 215 or so? Ive lost down 25 lbs so far. Relosing is the hardest part. I get so discouraged. I'll be 4 years out in November and its HARD! so definitely congratulations.
You're doing GREAT Hilary! 25 lbs is fantastic!!
I don't remember anyone 'talking' about regain when I was a newbie almost 5 years ago. Do you? Maybe they did and I just had my head in those Honeymoon days clouds and thought it wouldn't happen to me.
I try to be honest on the board, not to scare anyone away from surgery, but to help them to really be honest with themselves and not get in bad habits after they lose. To learn good habits as they are losing.
Thanks for the support. We can be each other's cheerleaders!! Don't get discouraged...you can do it!! Being a single parent doesn't help, but come here and to FB and I will encourage you and I know the others will.

It is pretty easy to do good when you are only 7 weeks out! I get lots of inspiration seeing how well so many of you have done years after your surgery. You are the success stories that helped decide that this was a life time solution ot my obesity. Yes, you have struggles, but you overcome and keep pushing forward! I love this post because it keeps me honest!
