Monday morning hugs
Sending you all hugs on this wonderful Monday morning. You all have an awesome day today. I love ya!!
Rejoice in hope: be patient in affliction: be persistent in prayer. (Romans 12:12)
The enemy would have us be prayerless. He would rather we do anything other than pray. He offers us many excuses for not talking with our Heavenly Father. Prayerful lives are powerful lives. We can do ALL things through Christ who gives us strength.

Hey Carmen. Sorry about not getting back in touch with you the other day. I have been a little under the weather, plus had a flat and currently running on a spare since my tire had to be special ordered. (That should be resolved today).
Hopefully, I'll have my bounce back soon too. I have seen a doctor, had labs done, and got some medication adjustments. I have been in this funk for too long... I just want to feel normal again. Know what I mean?
Anyway, hugs to you on the partly sunny day.. notice I didnt say "partly cloudy". I'm trying to be positive.

Hey there my friend!!!! I am so sorry that we could not meet up, but maybe before long we can get together. I would say this weekend, but John and I are going to a weekend Encounter and will be gone from Friday until Saturday night late. However, if you need to just get out and get away, call me or email me and we can get together one night. You take care of you. I know you have been through so much. I am praying that things will get easier for you. I like your "partly sunny". I love ya!!
I'm leaving Thursday night for Orlando. Emerson's first birthday is Friday so we are spening some time celebrating with them. While we are there, we are going to Universal Studio and Adventure Island (my daughter has promo tickets, so we couldnt turn down that opportunity).
I have low vitamin D so I need some sunshine. I've been out on the deck this morning but when ever I'm out, the sun goes behind a cloud. Do we make vitamin D on cloudy days?

Yes you do I think. From what I have been reading all you need is 10 minutes a day. If it is very low you might should do the mega doses for 5 weeks. You take 20,000u q weekly for 5 weeks. That is what I was told. And then wait and it checked again. I have been taking 2000u q day. I have also been doing the mega doses in the sun. I think that I am having a reaction to being in the sun.
I got a prescription for 20,000u for 5 weeks. I'm also going to buy a tanning bed package.
Did you know that low vitamin D is associated with DEATH? If it's not treated, it can lead to cardiac and respiratory problems and is also the primary suspect in SIDS.
It's strange that my calcium was normal. We need vitamin D to absorb calcium yet my calcium was normal. This leads me to believe that my body is pulling calcium from my bones and teeth to maintain a normal blood level and leaving my bones in jeopardy. I will have a bone scan in 6 months.
