God works in strange and mysterous ways
Randall requested prayer for Brenda on Thursday. She came through the procedure extremely well and is home. She went to bed a few hours ago telling me she overdid it today.
She had been complaining of pain in her right side in the kidney area for about two years and our PCP dignosed it as various things from infection to muscle strain. All the time Brenda kept getting weaker and weaker. About three weeks ago the PCP ordered an echo of the kidney and it revealed a blockage in the renal artery to the right kidney. Also her BP was stroke level reaching as much as 190/100+. We finally got to see a cardiologist on Tues and he previously ordered a CTscan which also showed the blockage. He told he that normally he only went as far as the blockage and withdrew but with her family history he would like to do a complete scan of the heart as well. Of course we agreed.
On Thursday he surprised us by showing us the blockage and subsequent stint opening in an artery going to the front of her heart which was 99% blocked. Two month ago she has had a stress test at Marshall South and the Cardiologist there said all was OK and she would have to live with the chest pain she was having.
Prior to release the doctor at Huntsville Hospital told Brenda he could tell she had been taking care of herself. When she said why he told her that due to the location of the heart artery, if she had thrown a clot or had an actual heart attack it would have been fatal. BTW her BP is now normal with medication.
So God does work in strange and mysterious ways. The renal blockage and eventually getting the right doctor saved her life. To God be the glory.

I'm SO glad that God worked to use this Dr. to bring HEALING to Brenda! This is truly a testimony of how HE can work and how HE can use Dr.s to bring healing. THANK GOD she is OK!! We are praying for a speedy recovery and for her strength to recover! We LOVE you BOTH!

Oh Glenn...I am praising God that He once again, did His awesome work. I am so happy that Brenda is going to be ok. This is such an awesome praise report. Please give her a hug for me and let her know that we are continuing to prayer for a speedy and full recovery. There are no adjectives to describe my God!!!! Love y'all!!!
Hi Glenn. I am so glad Brenda is doing so well. You know this is one more time the scripture is proven to be true. All things work together for good to them who love the Lord. The kidney issues were not "good" but our God took that to bring about a healing for Brenda. He could have healed in an instant but where would the testimony be? Please tell her hello from Jimmy and Debbie!!
