I'm sorry to have to come here and ask this:

If you have time today, and over the weekend -please say a prayer for me and my family. This Sunday it will be 10 years since my mother was killed in a car accident, which as you can imagine was very rough. This week my dad has also let me and my siblings know, by letter that he is getting remarried to someone whom we all do not like and just cannot see welcoming into our family and we are all having a tough time with it.  This all has caused a lot of drama within my family and pretty much left all of us children not speaking to our father. We need your prayers if you have a moment!

I will definitely say a special prayer for you & your family this weekend.  I'm sure this is a tough time for your family, esp if your dad is planning to remarry.  Just pray that he finds some happiness and peace for himself.

Cristy, I will be praying for you and your family for peace and comfort during this time.  My mother married again about 10 years after my father's death and it was hard.  I did not want anyone to come into my mother's life and take my daddy's place.  However, he turned out to be the best "Jaybirdie" (that's what we called him) that anyone could have ever had.  I don't know your situation, and it is probably much different than mine, but God does and He is able to comfort you and keep you through all of this.
