Coming Down

I'm heading down to Montgomery tomorrow for my house hunting trip provided I feel great today. 

Spent the first three and a half days of the week in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer and needed blood transfusions, so I don't want to take an unnecessary risk.

But I am really excited to be getting down there and seeing what is available and having a good picture of where I will live. From the hospitality on this board, I am really looking forward to going back south.

Will I need to pack a gallon of sunscreen?  ha!

Thanks, Jackie ... yes, I am moving down there sometime in mid July.  It brings me closer to my granddaughters, so I am stoked.  :-)

I'm NEW to the Grandparenting thing...so, I can understand about wanting to be closer to your grandchildren!  
I had my 1st grand this year!  His name is Dalton James and will be 5 mos on the 15th of June.
Our 2nd grand is due in December.  My Grandmotherly instincts tell me this one is a girl. 
If so, her Mom & Dad plan to name her Evalyn Nicole. 
We just moved AWAY from our  grandchild...and it is tough not being able to see him.  We call alot and get pics via email.    They are planning to come to see us in July...it will be his 1st trip to the beach!    We cannot wait to see them both (Mom & Grandbaby)!

So sorry to hear about that bleeding ulcer. I've been there and it's a very scaring and painful thing.

Bring the sunscreen and a cap for your head and be perpared for the humidity. Everyone complains about it. We've been in the middle 90's all week and no relief for this weekend.

Hubby and I are going to hit some yardsale's Saturday morning. I love going through other people's discard's. You can find some treasures sometimes. We'll be at the river all weekend but if you're here and have time, give me a call. I'll send my cell number in a PM.

Thank you ... I do have to say that I am so glad to have had this surgery and lost all this weight and not have my thighs (such that they are) stick together!  That bodes well for the transition!

Don't forget the Deep Woods Off!  The bugs are horrible this year!
