4 More days until my surgery and I'm BEYOND excited! I know the recovery will be a challenge however I'm not one bit scared or nervous. I'm sure I'll be a little anxious that morning but I know that God is in control and the way this all fell into place so smoothly I know His hand is in it. Tammy will be here Tuesday to hold my hand through it all. LOL  Between her and Rich and my Mom I'll be taken very good care of! I'm SO blessed to have such wonderful people in my life!  

I've been up since way before dawn working around the house, then went to breakfast with Rich then to clean the church. (Different families take turns) I still have a few things to do around here before I begin to relax but I sure do have a good jump on things.

I've even lost a few lbs since I saw the plastic surgeon last. I was at 205 when I saw him around the middle of April and now I'm down to 200.4. My goal is to be 199 by surgery date. I've been there a time or two but my body just seems to LOVE that 202-205 range. I know though with all the skin and fat that will be removed I'll be able to maintain below 200 and I'll be perfectly happy with that. With my height and my bone structure I am able to carry that much weight and not really look like I weigh that.

Love you all...it's back to the grindstone for me!

Hang in there it will all be worth it!!

Congrats to you both ... I have had the Tummy Tuck back in 2005 and just had RNY May 20, 2009 and I am glad I done both although the Tummy Tuck is SOOOOO much more painful than the RNY. 

It feels good to get your life back and be healthy :)

 You will be just FINE!!! It wasn't nearly as bad as what I thought ti would be. The first week or so you won't be able to stand straight and the drains aren't pleasant but it's alright. YOu will learn to love that compression garment...LOL.

I am having a minor laser procedure on the 19th. It's been a little over 2 yrs since my TT and I still have some scar discoloration. My PS is going to laser it and he says that will fade it out nicely.

I will be fine, I just know it's going to be more pain than my lap-band, which was almost none once I left the hospital. I will be taking advantage of the pain pump and pills this time! LOL

What did you use on your scars initially?? I have looked at Mederma and a couple of other things but have not decided on anything yet. Thought I'd ask a few of you and also check with the Dr Monday when I go for my pre-op visit.
