One room painted

I have managed to get one room painted.  I just need to clean the floors, wax the furniture, and clean the blinds and it will all be finished.  I have already picked up the paint stuff and cleaned the windows.  This is a lot of work, but it will be over soon.  The walls are Navajo Sand with white trim. it looks good.  I have worked a little bit for four days to get it all done.  I usually do it all in two, but I just didn't feel like pushing that hard to get it all done.

So what are you all up to this week and weekend?

So glad to hear you made it safe and sound to Texas.  You know, you could of just loaded up Kyle and took him with you and it would of all been done in 1-2 days.  LOL  The colors sound great.  I love my painting and we are going to hang it in our bedroom. It's just perfect with our colors.  Everyone that's seen it has commented on how beautiful it is and agrees that it would be perfect for the bedroom.  Maybe we can dream of being in that beautfiul place you painted.

As for this weekend.  As for this weekend, Holly and I are going to help a pregnant friend on bedrest clean their house in the morning, then we have a couple of errands to run before going down to Beau's grandparents 50th Wedding Anniverary Party tomorrow afternoon.  Then Sunday after church we are heading down to Centreville to the river for a family reunion.  SHould be fun.  I can't wait to go.  IT's always fun.  I think I am going to try to take Christian to CHOM next week one day and see if he likes that.  I saw pics where Sandi had taken Jameson and looks like he had a grand ole time.  We will also go swimming at a friends at least one day next week and for the rest of the week, we have a new small blue wadding pool on our deck and a child safety gate to keep Christian from going up and down the stairs.  He has his own play room in my office and now he has the deck he can play on too.  THen when he really wants to get out and about, we have his four wheeler and cozy coupe car and tricycle to venture out in either the front or back yard or the nice driveway and quiet road our frond of our house.  Anyway, this week has flown by and we've had a good one.  I hope you don' t work too hard and please let me know when you are headed back this way.

The painting is not what has taken the time.  It is the filling cracks, moving furniture, cleaning stuff up, packing things away, etc.  It is all the deep cleaning that has gone with the painting.  And the sad note is, that Kyle would have done a better job in less time than I did, too.

Sounds like you have a really big week planned.  Christian may not want to go home with all that stuff available for him.

I bought groceries tonight.  I saved about $20 using coupons that I had clipped and saved from the internet.  I am getting back into couponing.

I'm going to start using coupons again too.  What is your favorite internet coupon sites?  Could you share them please?

Holly has to be at work all next week at 6:30, so Christian will be spending his nights here.  She is going to be able to pick  him up at 1 pm so that she and Beau can spend the afternoons and early evenings with him.  That's just too early to get that sweet baby boy up and me too.   The mission trip will be coming up shortly too, so we will have him for 10 days straight then and also camp and we'll have him 5 days then.  I'm getting used to it and by golly, HE'S keeping my weight down, so I really can't complain. LOL  For once in my life, I weigh less than both my girls.  IMAGINE THAT???
