Holly and Beau gave us a beautiful  Housewarming yesterday.  We had lots of guests and some special surprise guests.  We thoroughly had the best time.  The weather was gorgeous and the house was too.  It wonderful having everyone in our new home. I took lots of after pics of the house and as soon as I figure out how to download them again, I will post some for ya'll.  Everyone has been asking for pics, but I didn'tr want to do so till the work was done.  I hope to get Holly to help me get them on the computer in the next day or so.

I'm so glad you finally posted about yesterday.  I wanted to come so bad but you know what we were doing.  Weekends are just like work days for us.  I will look forward to the pictures and you need to tell us about your gifts also!!  I am happy for you and Kyle.  Enjoy!!!

Oh,  I so wish we could hear you sing and get you to our church.  I'm still working on our choir director to  ya'll down here.

We got a new 12 piece set of glasses (from Holly and Beau)  that we so desperately needed.  Glass is the only thing that doesn't walk out our door, a new set of glass baking dishes, a beautiful crystal lazy susan, several sets of kitchen towels, dish clothes and pot holders (also much needed (we were down to rags),  several new candles and crystal candle holders (Holly confiscated my old ones and I wanted them back, but my aunt got me a new pair. ha ha so I guess she can keep the old ones) Karla painted me a GORGEOUS PAINTING. (absolutely stunning) We got a couple of Target giftcards (trying to get a new set of cookware (I've only had bits and pieces from yard sales since our fire 6 years ago) a beautiful glass and beaded humming bird feeder, a nice fancy table cloth with 8 napkins (we have 8 chairs)  A lovely antique crystal bowl that our SS teacher wanted to share with us.  I will cherish that forever.  It's simply fabulous.  It's very unique and I just love it.  We also got some cleaning supplies from another church member.

We are SO very proud of our home.  When the other house didn't work out as planned we were just devastated.  We lost SO MUCH MONEY in that other house, but God had the perfect plan and this is it.  We couldn't be happier.  God knew exactly what he was doing.  Ain't he just the most AWESOME GOD???  As always, there is always work to be done, but by golly, we're getting there....  I'm sure when we get finished something else will come up, but then again, that's how it always happens, but it's okay, cause I know God is the CENTER of it all.  You be blessed and have a great week.  Tell Lucy hello for me.
