I HAVE A DATE

FINALLY, I HAVE A DATE.  JULY 14, 2009.  I DIDN'T THINK I WOULD EVER GET HERE DUE TO INSURANCE DENIALS.  I HAVE TO SELF PAY, BUT IT WILL BE TOTALLY WORTH IT.  YEA!

Congratulations Paulette.  I'm sorry you have to self-pay.

I know someone who had lap-band, self-pay and two months later their group insurance started approving lap-band.  When I sympathized with her and said I was sorry that she missed being approved by two months she said she was glad that she had to self-pay because she felt it made her think before she even thought of not following the rules.  She said if it had been covered by insurance she didn't know if she would have been as successful.  She has been very successful.

Anyway, you've come to the right place.  I didn't notice before I responded what kind of surgery you are planning to have, but there will be somebody here to help you with whatever you need, or someone to point you in the right direction.  Welcome!! 

Paulette...I am thrilled for you!!!!  You have a great surgeon, also.  (But I am a bit biased LOL.)  I wish you all the best on your wonderful new journey.
