I am having the hardest time remembering things lately!  I know I am not as young as I use to be but since I had surgery I have really had a hard time.   It is beginning to bother me!  Has anyone else had this since surgery and could it be a vitamin deficiency or is it just me.  Help!!!

I had surgery 3 1/2 years ago and just recently have begun forgetting things.  However, I am old and I have a lot on my plate, so I think that is what is going with me.  You may want to check with your doc and make sure everything is ok.  I wish you all the best with your journey.

Thanks for your comment!  I have an appointment next Wednesday.  I have had alot on my plate with three kids and one graduating from High School last Friday night and I know I have a lot going on and I am getting older but....   I am struggling with this!  I do not like it!  If this is the only problem I have from becoming a new me I guess I am blessed and should not complain.

Thanks for the info.  I will ask my Dr.  I have appointment next Wednesday!  I am truely blessed that I have not had any problems what so ever and feel great.  This memory thing is just getting in the way of my work.   I have just started taking Calcium so I will see if that helps.  I had to wait till I was 8 weeks out to take it.  Thanks so much for the support!  I enjoy reading your post!

I wonder if it could still be the affects of anesthesia? I had a nurse at work tell me one time that for every hour under anesthesia it takes your body a month to recover. 2 hrs = 2 months.

I'm 5 1/2 years out and I cannot remember if I have memory problems or not.  I think I forgot something once but it escapes me now as to what it was. Now what was I saying, oh yes, it has been raining here too.

I have heard that too!  Have not thought about that.   I had surgery March 30 so that could be true!  Thanks!

I have actually been seeing several different Dr's about this. They had me sign up for a "brain gym". It gives you like a weeks free trial. It has brain games that are designed to keep up with your memory & such & to train your memory to be better. I have noticed a difference. Here is the website:

Hope this helps
