I am ranting !! Yeah Me !! My neighbor was walking with me , mind you I watch her everyday limp across the yard because she has a bad back. Always complaining . I was walking everyday with her. I have to limit my miles because my knee Doc said I was walking too much on my knee replacements I was walking 1 hour and 15 min everyday I had to cut back to 45 min because of Doc orders . I walk briskly for 45 min Mon- Friday , and this am she called me and said that she didn't want to walk with me anymore , because I was holding her back ! Ha! She wears a size 6 and she wants to lose 20 more pounds and has never had a weight issue  and she could not do it walking with me ! I just needed to get it off my chest ! All better now that I said it out loud  LOLs I told her it was fine kept my cool !!  I will not let her bring me down !! Thanks for listening to me !!  I will continue my 45 minutes all by myself  and beeze Happy

Hey there my precious friend!!!!  Well, when me and John walk, he is slower than me, also.   However, it is ok.  I just want to walk and to be with him.  I am sorry that she did this but please don't stop.  You will find someone else to walk with you.  Love ya bunches!!!

You know--sometimes I believe some people need a window cut into their abdomen so they can see and breathe --considering where they have their head stuck!

You are doing so great --be not discouraged.

ALL YOU WANT my friend!  You?  Holding her back?  LOL  I can't see that.  Especially if she was limping with a bad back.  I just PRAY for the day that I can walk briskly w/o any issues!!  She should walk with you as long as you could but let her go on.  Glad you kept your cool!  HAHA!  Love ya and I can't wait to see YOU Mrs. Skinny Minnie!!

Why would you want to walk with somebody skinny anyway. Haven't I taught you anything. Always stand next to somebody larger than you. It makes you look smaller. Never walk with anybody who can walk faster than you. It makes you look faster. And the number one thing is never argue with your husband out in public. People with either think  he is smarter than you or think you should have been smarter than you were and not married him. . Either way you look stupid. I think I'm going to have to come down and stay a few days and give you a refresher course. Take care. Love, Miss Mary

Thanks to all for your encouragement ! I was just thinking over what she said today and realized when she commented I was holding her back , she wasn't even walking at all til I started. She asked me if she could walk with me ! I have lived beside her for 5 yrs and never seen her walking!  Ha! I look at it this way , if I hadn't started the walking she would not be doing it so she has me to thank ! Ha!

By the way Miss Mary I am    on that visit !!  Come on down Ha! My BBF is coming to see me Friday and you know who that is ! We won't talk about you much !! Hope your ears dont burn !!

I have an knee replacement, too.  I do something that I probably shouldn't, but I ride a bicycle.  I am taking a chance on falling, but it is easier on my knees and it builds and strengthens the leg muscles very well and keeps the pressure off of the replacement.  I have given up toe shoes and ballet with the knee replacements.  Yes, I most likely did look like one of those elephants that Disney is so fond of putting in tutus and ballet slippers.  However, I loved doing it.  I am currently fighting weight gain.  I lost 65 pounds and am struggling to keep it off.  So I am doing a lot of exercise to help burn the calories.  However, I find that I am hungary nearly all the time these days.  It will be three years in August since my surgery.  Anyway, I can sympathize with your with the knee replacements and trying to exercise and yet not be too hard on those at the same time.
