What's on the Menu for your Memorial Day Lunch or Supper?

We are having:

Bar-B-Que Ribs
Potato Salad
Fried Corn
Seasoned Green Beans
Fresh Strawberries with Angel Food Cake
Iced Tea with Splenda

I will be eating a Rib with no sauce...I don't do well with BBQ Sauce.  I'll eat a bite of Potato Salad, Fried Corn, and Green Beans.  For dessert, I will eat Fresh Strawberries for I have sweetened them in Splenda.

What about you?  What's on YOUR plate?

Hey Jackie!
That sounds YUMMY!! No cooking here today. We went out for breakfast this morning so just a few bites of Tuna salad on crackers for me later on. Rich rarely eats lunch

For dinner it's leftover baked chicken and baked beans. I'll probably do some brocolli to go along with it.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day! I'm still praying for Aiden and family.

Hi there Ms. Jackie!!!  At the Roberts house the menu is:

Roasted Chicken (In my George Forman roaster)
Fresh Green beans and new potatos
Fresh Squash
Corn Bread

My neighbor had knee surgery recently and his wife is away for a few days.  I am going to fix him a plate and take over to him.

My grill has bit the dust so until we can get another one my grilling days are over.

I have to be at work in about an hour so we grilled last night. We had grileld chicken & ribs, green beans, baked beans, sliced tomatoes, mashed potatoes w/cheese (my son's girlfriend loves these) and a sf chocolate pie. We went to my sil's for lunch today. She grileld hamburgers and hot dogs, she also had french fries, chips & dip, strawberry cobbler, baked beans, watermelon, potato salad, slaw, sausage balls...nothing very healthy. I ate 1/2 a grilled hamburger pattie, 1/2 a grilled hot dog, no bread w/either,  a small piece of watermelon & a couple of bites of oreo fluff (bad me, felt like yuck after it!). I carried Italian pasta salad, lemonade with Splenda and Orea fulff. Still nothing healthy. They really aren't in to eating right, can you tell...lol!

Nothing is on my plate!  I wish I were at YOUR house eatin'!  HAHA!  BTW, Lucy and I were in Madison today.  I just realized that Madison and Huntsville are seperate towns.  DUH!  Madison is a nice place too.

I've not cooked today.  Lucy NOR I have.  We decided to have simple supper tonight.  Torey and Allison of ALL things want sandwiches.  I am going to have a crab meat salad.  Not sure what Lucy wants but today is her holiday so I will fix it for her.

Love you guys!

Oh my.,....what didn't we have?  LOL Kyle cooked a huge boston butt, hotdogs, hamburgers and fresh grilled corn on the cob.  We had baked beans, tater salad, pickled eggs, chips.  For dessert, we had GRADUATION cake from Jil's Graduation party last night, Wedding cake (yesterday was Holly and Beau's 1st Anniversary so we had the top of the cake.  I made an apple pie and Holly make a butter finger cake.  Lordy mercy.....wasn't no sense in ALL THAT FOOD!  We fed the neighbors, family and friends.  We had some relatives that came by to visit Daddy and they came over and ate too, then Kyle's brother came by a little while ago and ate as well.  We had our elderly neighbors over for lunch and sent home plates of food with them for tomorrow and my Daddy too.  We STILL have food left.  We have plenty to eat on for a couple more days and yesterday  I made chicken salad, homemade pimento and cheese and a pasta salad.  My fridge is full.  Hopefully I won't have to cook for a few days.  Yeah ME!!!  Oh and we went thru 3 gallons of Milo's splenda tea, too.
