Tuesday morning hello
Not much time this morning so I will send out a big hello to everyone in one post. I would love to have time to answer each post but not so this morning. I am still home because I took this morning off. We are doing a program at our local nursing home this morning. Every time we go just to visit Jimmy's aunt all the residents want to know if we are going to sing. This morning we are going to do just that.
Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday. Be blessed!!!
Everyone have a wonderful Tuesday. Be blessed!!!
We are back and I am now at work. The residents of the nursing home may have been blessed this morning but not nearly as much as I was. We sung some new songs as well as some old ones. It touched me so much to see the lips moving when we sang How Beautiful Heaven Must Be. Then we sang What A Day That Will Be. I thought of the stories those wonderful people could tell. I thought of the battles fought and won and lives touched by them. There is such a need for people to minister to these people. Sometimes we look for the "BIG" jobs to do for Jesus. I think we need to look for these kinds of jobs and we will soon see that these are the "Biggest" jobs of all.
Just want to commend you on taking the time to honor our older people. That is not done much anymore.
I've always enjoyed talking with senior citizens--and then when I got my AARP card a couple of years ago and realized I was one --I began talking more to myself.
