Update on my Nephew Aiden

Hey Everyone!

Thanks again for praying for Aiden, Michael and Tina.

Tina has been released from the hospital, and they are staying in the Ronald McDonald house for a minimal fee per night.

Aiden is now in CCU, a step up from where he was, so this is a good thing...and he is being tube fed as well as taking a bottle.  He has gained up to over 5# now.  He hasn't had anymore seizures.  They are running extensive metabolic and genetic testing on him and leaving no stone unturned.

A few days ago, a nurse (who was filling in at the last moment and wasn't suppose to be their nurse) came in to see about  Aiden.  Come to find out, 22 years ago, this nurse had a baby in Birmingham with the same exact symptoms as Aiden.  The nurse told Michael & Tina not to worry, that her baby is now 22 years old and graduation from the University of Alabama this week with a B.S. degree.   Michael & Tina don't feel as if that was coincidental...they feel as if God placed that lady in their pathway for a reason!

Please keep them in your prayers.  Due to Tina being so ill, she is going to have a challenge on her hands taking care of him at home.
Thanks again!  Love y'all!

Thank you for the update on the baby and his parents.  I praise God that he is improving and his momma got to go home.  God is so faithful and He knew that that nurse needed to be where she was at that time.  He blesses us so.   I love ya!!!!

Keeping Michael, Aiden, and Tina in our prayers.  PTL for praise reports.  I too believe this nurse was placed in their path to make them feel at ease.  God bless this family!

Our Awesome God has done it again!!  Woo Hoo!!

That nurse was definitely put there to encourage Michael and Tina.

I will continue to pray for this family and will be looking for more praise reports!!  Thanks for keeping us updated Jackie.

I do have to say that is nice to not only see your smiling face on your posts, but the beautiful smiling face of baby Dalton at the bottom of each post too!  He is adorable.

Christ's peace,

I selfishly keep Dalton's pic on my signature line for me.  I miss him.  I'm crying as I type.  I love Pensacola, but I love Dalton/my family more...I will be up in north AL in a few weeks to see everyone again.

Dalton & Brittney will also be here in P'cola June 14th for a visit...this will be his 1st beach trip!    I will take PLENTY of pics of him on the beach in his trunks!

Thank you for the sweet comment!  I love you my friend!

Thank you for your prayers!
Another praise report...he opened his eyes for the 1st time today since the 2nd day since he was born.  He has been so sedated with medication to control his seizures that he's had his eyes closed until today!
That is a HUGE Praise the LORD for his parents to see his little eyes!
