First post on here...

Hi everybody! This is my first post on this website.  I am 6 1/2 years post op and am looking for some support to help keep me on track.  (No support group = bad choices.)  I lost 157 pounds, but then regained 55.  I'm loosing again, but would appreciate making some new friends on here.

Welcome to the Bama Board Leigh Ann!!!!  It is great to meet you.  I have been slack about going to a support group also.  I have to get back into one. 

This is a great board with much support on here.   I don't know where you live, but there are some great support groups around.  You have an awesome day and please let us hear from you.

First and foremost, WOW and congrats on loosing 157 lbs! That is awesome. I had lap-band almost 3 years ago and it is hard to stay on track when life is happening all around you. I have managed to maintain about 20 lbs away from my goal. I'm heading in for plastic surgery on June 10th for panniculectomy and TT and hope to loose about 10-15 lbs of skin and fat from that. 
There is no support group around here where I live. I get my support and ideas from the lap-band board and here on the Bama board. (Wonderful peeps here!!) 
I just recently got back on track eating right myself, preparing to be as healthy as possible for PS. Luckily I had only gained a few lbs and got them off quickly when I started the PROTEIN FIRST philosophy back. 
I see that your Dr is in Mobile and there are some ladies on here that are from that area and I know they belong to a support group. If that is where you live now you may be in luck!

You've come to the right place Leigh Ann.  Don't beat yourself up is the key.  Lord knows I've learned that part.  Just put the basics back to use and go at it.  Keepting you in my thoughts and prayers!

Welcome Leigh Ann.  I will be 7 years post op, August 8th.  It's been a WILD ride to say the least.  Good luck and congrats on losing again.  It's easy to put the weight back on, but hard to get it back off.  I gained about 20, but I've lost that and then some.  PRAISE GOD!
