Friday Coffee Talk

I'm not giving up - as a matter of fact I think I'm gonna dig my feet in and do something extraordinary. I'm thinking of studying radiology. After my experience with cancer and seeing how many different people it takes to help us mend, I really want to do this. Of course, its just in the thinking process right now. I haven't talked to Leo or even checked into the possibility of being able to do something like this. But the idea has been planted and is now beginning to take root. I'd love everyone's prayers as I spend time with God to see if this is what He wants and not just what I want.

Got me some Iced Coffee this morning. Hope I don't dump!!!

You give up...NEVER...I can't even see you and the word VICTIM together.  You have been a VICTOR from the moment you had your diagnosis.  You are another one who has inspired me with your unwavering trust and faith in God!! 

Thank you too, Debbie for sharing your ups and downs and always looking at life with a positive spin and usually a good laugh when most of us would be crying!!!

I will keep you in my prayers in a special way as you discern whether God wants you where you want to be.  Be still and listen...you know He will tell you and I know you will hear what He is saying.

Radiology is great!

I love doing it!

I have been a technologist for over 25 years!  And I love taking x-rays!

Check with Baptist South - they have an x-ray program and they can give you all the info. about the program!

Maybe one day, we will be sisters in radiology together!

Dig in and do this!  It is a very rewarding profession!

TGIF Brother!!!  Thank you for another GREAT motivation!  You are the perfect example of never giving up and fighting the good fight of faith.  Thank you for always sharing your faith in our AWESOME GOD with us.  I know for me it STRENGHTHENS my sometimes floundering faith to see you persevere through the adversities that the devil puts in front of you and that you get through or rather PUSH THROUGH AND RUN OVER with our LORD!!!

I definitely see Jesus in you...shining forth brightly and your reward through all the pain you have suffered is the joy you obviously have and the wonderful family he has given you.

Seriously Randall...I want you to know what you and your family and your continuous...never ceasing faith in the Lord has meant to me and my spiritual life!!

Good Morning!!
What  a beautiful weekend it's going to be!
Today I am off and about to go get the boys out of school only half day for them today. And they are so ready!
Tommorrow they will be bagging groceries at Winn Dixie in Orange Beach with our church to raise money for Summer Mission Trips and LFR (Summer Camp). They are so excited.
Gerry starts his summer job on Monday. He is doing construction in Pensacola. I am praying this makes him see how he needs to work hard and go to college and never want to do construction again.. lol
Jacob will have football practice most the summer as well as activities with Crossroads as he moves up to join the Youth group at our church this Sunday with the Summer kickoff Party!
Busy Busy Busy..
I am ready to fight some of this pain and weight off. I got steriod shots for the cellutis and have put on some weight. I am getting my walking shoes out today and planning a summer filled with lots of sunshine and GOD at the center! I need to get focused!
Our pastor leaves June 14th. So Pray for our church as well.

Good morning Julie.  I know I don't respond or post much but I am trying today to let those who are here all the time for everyone know how much they mean to us.

You are always here with a smile, a prayer and a positive word for anyone who needs it.  I know you have suffered alot and you keep being here encouraging others.  Thank you for thinking of others through your suffering.  You are doing what God expects us to do.  Thank you for being obedient to his Word!

I will continue to pray for you and your family.  I hope you have a wonderful Summer on the beach.  Don't even think about me working my fingers to the bone ALL SUMMER long while you are walking on the beach, going to Waterville, enjoying the sand and surf...I'M NOT JEALOUS AT ALL!!!

I will be working all summer but the good thing is I log in at 6am and am off by 1pm!
I am not looking forward to the fall at all. Fall will be crazy with the NFL kicks in. So I better enjoy the slow calls now. No one watches TV in the summer! lol
Traffic is INSANE! It is so packed down here right now. I am glad I am not taking the kids in the morning. Teddy is. I have to wor****il noon. I will be going over there tommorrow afternoon though. I know they couldn't have picked a better weekend. Orange Beach only has the 2 grocery stores. So I know they will be bagging like crazy!

Thanks Connie for always being an inspiration to me. When I thought I couldn't do it - you and these people here helped me up; dusted me off and we began each day a new! 
I Praise God for all the people he brought into my life thru this surgery; thru my faith and most of all with His love! He gave me a real life FAMILY not just friends. And I know that he gives you the very desires of your heart. I am a living testimony to HIS Word.

I will always be around. I am still an OH support group leader. Next meeting coming up June 2nd. And ya'll need to come join us at Smoothie King!
