Hugs on a beautiful Saturday morning!!!

Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another -- all the more as you see the Day approaching.  (Hebrews 10:24-25)

I realize that Paul was speaking of encouraging each other in their Christians lives here, but I take the passages in the Bible and use them very personally.  To me, this passage is saying today that we should encourage each other.  I believe that Paul meant in life, also.  We do meet together.  We have our get-togethers and the big reunions.  These are wonderful times and we do encourage each other at these.  It is a time of fellowship and encouragement.  We should also encourage each other with words.  However, be careful with those words.  Where one person might be able to handle a strong word, another may not.  We have to size up the situation and person in order to see how to handle the situation.  I guess I am just telling us all to be encouraging to each other.  We have all "been there...done that...and most of us have that t-shirt", so we understand at least a bit of what another is going through.

I hope your day has been wonderful so far.  We've had a lazy day today.  It's been rainy and overcast so I've been napping and we've watched old movies.  We're watching an old Bob Hope and Tuesday Weld movie now.  I love Bob Hope.

I like what you heard for our Bama Board when you read this passage...thanks for sharing with us.  Words can be encouraging and they can hurt even when we don't mean them too.  Thank you always being thoughtful of others' feelings and always encouraging to all who come here.  This was a great reflection of the Word and how it applies to all of us here.
