I agree with Stacy that you would probably like the Prattville area. It is convenient to everything and has some great shopping areas and eating choices plus you can be at work in no time. St. Joseph's in Prattville is an outstanding church and one that I think you would enjoy. St. Bede is also one I know about but it is on the east side of town which is a good distance from Prattville and Maxwell but a lot of people don't mind the drive if its where you want to be. Downtown Montgomery is going through some major rehaul and isn't as bad as it once was. It still has a way to go but more and more people are turning in that direction. A lot of homes have been restored and are quite beautiful. The Montgomery Biscuits and the new Civic Center are really helping to change the downtown area. Take a ride on the river boat!! My husband and I and another couple are going out in a few weeks. It has recently been restored and is quite a treat. We have a camper on the Alabama river and we love the outdoors. I don't know why I haven't met Stacy in person yet that's going to change soon, right Stacy?
Well, take care Janice and we'll make it a point to get together when you get in town. Maybe Stacy and I can show you some sights.

I just wanted to welcome you to the Bama Board and to Montgomery. I live about 15 minutes from Maxwell. I pass it on my way to work in the mornings. CURVES is a good place to work out and you are always welcome at Catoma Baptist CHURCH. I would suggest living in Prattville. Its about 15 or 20 minutes from Maxwell.
