Well I've Made it~~
To register my baby Cody to Kindergarten this morning. He's so ready to start today if he could.. but he's still got a few months till then. I told him after we come back from vacation then he'll not have much more time to wait.. But he's so ready now & I'm not... This is going to be a great deal of an expierence for me.. My baby girl Brittany will be going into the 9th grade. With DH & myself having to work, she's going to have to take over alot of responsibility with making sure Cody gets off the bus with her & take care of him for about an hour before my DH gets home from work... I ask for your prayers that this will work out.

I know you are probably a little anxious about this transition, especially not being able to pick Cody up after school. But Brittany will take good care of him. The hardest part for me was when I had to take Tara and then watch her walk off. I felt like my heart was breaking. Her daddy was able to pick her up after school. Now it's my grandkids that break my heart. I don't take Austin to school often but when I do I just hate driving away. It helps if he's happy when he leaves but if he's not wanting to go then that's what gets to me. I wish I didn't have to work so that I could keep Peyton and pick up Austin. That would make this "nana" a very happy lady. Anyway, you have my prayers Charlotte!!

Thank you DebbieDoo for keeping me in your prayers.. It's going to be tough when Cody starts Kindergarten that's for sure... Just big sissy will have to step up to the plate and play the grown up part now. But I feel she can be respoinsible enough, if not, then he'd have to ride the bus to the daycare center every evening. Only thing that worries me is when my daughter has afterschool events that she wants to attend.. from there we'll have to make other arrangements for him after school.
I so wish I could work part time just so I could pick my children up after school or be home when they get off the bus. In fact, I spoke to HR a little bit about it yesterday but it would cause me to loose my benefits.. bummer!!
