Home and doing ok

Surgery went OK.  Just had a scare when I fell and scared myself along with everyone Else.  I have slept so much that I am tired of sleeping.  I have laid down till I am tired of laying down.  LOL  Now, I am up and ready to go.  I have 2 more Dr's appts today and I am tired of going.  LOL  Even though they are Dr.s that are helping me more so than anyone else ever has.  I'm up and raring to go, with no place to go this early.  LOL

Our challenge for today is to, don't be caught on the outside looking in.  If you are watching the boards, if you are reading these posts, if you are even remotely thinking about having Gastric Bypass, what are you waiting for?  Don't be scared.  The risk of complications are minimal.  The likely hood of you living a better life are 99% greater than anything ever happening to you.  Get on the inside and see what happens.  You will find that this surgery is the BEST thing you have ever done.  Sure, your anxiety, fears, worries and questions are all normal, but you have read up on this, seen others posts, and you know you want to have WLS, so just do it as Nike says.  JUST GO FOR IT!  You will be glad you did!!

Who's up this morning?  What cha sippin' on?  Me?  Same old same old, Folgers in my cup, but it sure is good.   I'm saving a cup for you and I'm waiting for my company to arrive.  The light is on.

Y'all have the most blessed Wednesday you have ever had!  God bless!!

Randall, Lucy, Allison, and now Torey too. (he's moving home in 2 weeks!)

COOOOL beans about Torey moving home!  I KNOW how it feels to have the whole family with you!

Glad you are feeling better this a.m.

I just wanted to share with everyone that the scales have moved for me.    I had 8# to lose until my goal of 160# by the birth of our next grandbaby in December (I am taking it realistically slow for the last few pounds are ALWAYS the toughest to get off!).  My lowest weight HAD been 168.8#, and as of yesterday a.m. I am weighing 167.0#!!!!
YEAHHHHH!!!!!  I am 7# from my FINAL goal!!!!

Good Morning!!

I have been uber busy with graduation activities for both boys!! Hopefully things are winding down a bit..

Randall, I didn't know you had surgery, but I am glad to hear you are home. I also know what you mean about your baby moving home. I am facing the o9pposite, mine wants to move out so badly he can't stand it. Graduation is upon on him, and his adult life is about to begin. I am sad and happy at the same time. BTW--tell Ms. Lucy he has been accepted into nursing school. I was shocked when he told me he thought he wanted to go into it.
I also want you to know I have appreciated all of your prayers over  the years for him.

Jackie, it is so good to see you are almost at your goal. Those pounds can creep up on us, can't they? How are your babies doing? How is Florida?

I love ya'll!!

Nothing tastes as good as being thinner feels.

I have to walk early in the morning, before my brain figures out what I'm doing.

Good morning all!! I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went ok. How and where did you fall? That doesn't sound good.

I fell asleep around 6:00 p.m. last night sitting on the couch. I woke up at 7:15 at the sound of the front door knob jiggling. It scared me so bad. I grabbed my wig first thing. Now what in the world was that about? If I thought someone was breaking in my house I wanted my hair on first??? Sheesh!! Anyway, it was Leo and he had been calling since 6:15 and got worried when I didn't answer the phone. I honestly never heard it!! Once he was satisfied that I was ok he went back to work and I went back to sleep. I got up at 6:00 this morning and I still feel lightheaded and sleepy. I can't figure this out. I am taking the same medications so there's nothing new that would cause this. Maybe a sinus infection? I've never had one without other symptoms though. Anyway, I just hope I make it through work today. If you think about it, whisper a prayer for me.

I've got coffee brewing and will have a cup in a few minutes. I'm waiting for everyone else to get to the ooffee. One thing about coming in early - I miss the bad traffic and this morning I missed the torrential downpour. Everyone else may get wet!!

Have a wonderful day and be blessed.

Glad to see you are doing well RC.  Thank God all went well.

For the first time since surgery, I'm feeling a bit under the weather--not sick--just tired and lacking a little energy.  I made my 1/2 mile walk this morning--cool and a litle damp.

maybe I'll feel better later--got an appt with my PCP this afternoon--Happy, Happy,Joy. Joy
