looking for a exercising partner

I am looking for an exercise partner in decatur. Ive been gone a few months but im back now. im in yet another 6month diet for gastric bypass bc the dr at UAB is a *******! He told me that if I couldnt walk 2 miles a day PLUS do 3 hours in the gym medicaid would not pay 6k for the surgery. Obviously if I COULD do that WHY would I need surgery? im so scared im going to die and not be here for my son. I have a surgeon in hsv that will do the surgery but finding someone to document my six months was a pain the butt.

Ashley, I wish I were closer and I would take you up on that.  Try your best to do what you can.  I know I could have never walked that far prior to WLS.  Have you tried a treadmill?  I don't know if that would help.  If I can help in any way, please let me know. 

It angers me that Drs and insurance companies treat people with the disease of morbid obesity with such cruelty.  Maybe you need to ask him his success rate at treating morbid obesity with weigh****chers, exercise and pills.  If statistics hold true for him as compared to other Drs his success rate after 5 years will be that 98% of his patients (that are still alive) will have gained all their weight back plus more.  This compared to only about 15% of WLS patients.
He will not want to share his rate!

I live in hartselle would love to help so I can be helped as well but have no vehicle right now.My van is broke down in birmingham right now so no transportation.My children would to go to sparkman park as I walk the track. I would love to be a support system though anytime you need me let me know.God Bless!
