Update.. Cellutis..
Had to "leave" work early today. Clock out and Teddy took me to the new Orange Beach Urgent Care center. My BP was 144/120. Even when I was over weight I never remember the bottom number being that high. Doctor looked at my cellutis; she agreed it was cellutis and it did not surprise her that I pain shooting all the way down my spine. (That scared me) She said it is common. She said last time I had it that it is more rare to go up and over my head (the pain) than to head down the spine. She said that cellutis is actually a wound (mine was a needle stick from a block) that gets Staph and she was putting me on a liquid antibotic since I had RNY that they use to treat Staph MRSA. Teddy said how about giving her an antibotic that treats Staph ASAP (as soon as possible)
He also said that they need to keep me on it long enough for it to go away. He felt last time they kept giving me antibotic injections once a wee****il it died down but it never went totally away. He said all it did was flair right back up. She said some sorts are hard to treat but hopefully the liquid antibotic would help. She put me on some pain medication and some phenergan. (I still throw up easily especially when sick).
Hopefully this nasty cellutis will be gone soon and I can concentrate on a great summer.
On a good note- Jacob had an amazing time at His graduation party and dance on Friday night and will finish up the 6th grade on the 22nd. The puppies are thriving and all are doing well.
Gerry is still grounded and has become Miley's constant companion.. lol
He makes sure she gets her vitamins and lots of water and each puppy gets nursed.
He has also got a job for the summer working for a friend's construction company painting new houses.
I can't wait for May to be over! Cellutis behind me. School over and a beautiful summer to enjoy.

It is so miserable. I have it on the pain nerve on the back mid neck where the scalp line meets the neck. It hurts to even brush my hair. Last time it spread forward making it impossible to wash my hair or touch my head. This time the infection went down toward the spine.
It is no fun. I have no extra skin there if I did I could have it removed huh? lol
I just want the cellutis removed. What was the best treatment to help you? Was yours also dragged out for 2 months?? Just curious.. I'm so ready for this chapter to close.
Love you my friend! Thanks for any info you can share.

My episodes of cellulites were mostly before WLS so I don't really remember which antibiotic I took, but I know it was a strong one according to the Dr. It is one they use for MSRP and you can tell Teddy I needed it ASAP! LOL I always tested negative for MSRP though.
I also used a prescription cream called CLOTRIMAZOLE AND BETAMETHASONE DIPROPIONATE CREAM USP. It works wonders, its and anti-fungal/anti-biotic cream that I used for several years.
I had it once so back it looked like a little puncture and they ended up packing it and I had to go back every other day for them to take a look. That was the worst time and even then it never lasted more than a week or two before it was completely well. I seemed that once i started on antibiotics it got tons better within a couple of days.
GO JR!! :)

I've had it for 8 weeks and I'm just so frustrated and tired.
Did you hear about Jeremy Mayfield? He was suspended indefiantley last week when he failed a drug test. I also saw on the news where last week a 31 yr old Busch driver shot himself. I shouldn't say Busch driver as he was fired for failing a drug test. He test positive for drugs the first time; got reinstated with random drug tests as part of his reinstatement and probation. He failed a random test and was fired from Busch almost 2 years ago. I cannot begin to imagine how hard it is to go around and around in those circles and especially in the dead heat of summer on top of being in that fireproof suit and squeezed in a what must feel like a tuna can.
Sleepless nights; stress and long weeks. I think they should continue the random drug tests on all drivers; and pit crew members; It would be very easy for a simple mistake to seriously injure someone who works for Nascar or a bystanding Fan.
Anyway.. I love the gopher fan; and the TURN IT UP. I cannot wait to go enjoy a race again.
I'm trying to stay awake too; but I'm so tired. Miley and the pups have kept me up most nights!!
Hope you have a WONDERFUL Mother's Day!
Love ya!!!
