What did you get for Mother's Day?

Jill got me a knew KONE  hand held vacuum.  Holly got me a pedicure and Kyle got me a gift card for a date night out to the Cobb Theaters for a movie and a beautiful new red tea kettle for our kitchen.  I am so blessed.

Kyle and I don't get alot of time to ourselves, even though our kids are all grown now.  It's amazing, huh?  He works ALL the time and we usually have Christian alot of the time.  We sure do need that date night out.

What did you get?

I got a beautiful platter with a sketch of a historical doorway and the verse "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord."  I also got a beautiful card from her and another one from Sam (my yorkie).  So cute.  Tara also cleaned house for me and we planted flowers together yesterday, which was fun.

I got a beautiful Jane Seymore open heart necklace(from dh), a beautifully framed pic of 3 of my gorgeous grandaughters(from ds) and a beautiful hydrangea bush (from dd)that  is different colors. I loved it all but getting to see everyone was wonderful!!

OOoohhhh!!!!  I recently got 2 Hydrangea bushes from someone I love dearly, and it blessed my socks off for I absolutley LOVE Hydrangeas!!!!

Thanks, Jackie, I love mine,some of the blooms are 2 different colors. Do you know if I can put it in a pot or does it need to be in the ground?

My DH cleaned house for me top to bottom (which is a Blessing all in itself....LOL)And my kids all got me a card with a gift card(much simpler because I am always needing something when the time comes~ it always happens that way)My kids are smaller children so when they get older I am sure they will KNOW exactly what mommy needs.Spending time with all my kids is the best mommy's day I can have.They are the reason I am spending this day anyway!

I got a blouse (I picked out) and a very femine pink and brown plush toolbox, again, something else I picked out!  I've been wanting one for my tools I use around the house for I have my own set, and I don't like it when they get lost or misplaced!   
Jessie made a picture for me...she used an old pic of my and Tim and put the picture onto a piece of paper and then made the paper to have a "leg" to stand on it's own, just like a store bought picture frame.  The best thing about it is that it works!    She is one cool kiddo!
Hunter made a huge bowl of one of his favorite foods to go with supper (as a gift to me), pasta salad.
Tim bought fresh shrimp and scallops in celebration of Mother's Day, and I made kabobs, brushed them with a marinade, then broiled them in the oven.  They were outta this world good! 
We ate baked potatoes and corn on the cob in addition to the pasta salad with them.  For dessert, everyone had Fat Boys (double stuffed ice cream sandwiches).
I am one blessed Woman with a family who loves me so very much!  My least favorite part of the day is watching my own mom leave my house to go back home...that ripped my heart out for I love my Momma!  I am a Momma's girl 1000%, always have, always will be! 
I'm so glad you were blessed like you were for Mother's Day Loretta!  You deserve every bit of goodness and kindness that comes your way!

My daughter got me a digital phono frame with pics of her family, mostly the grandkids. I love it and love them all so much.

My sister bought me a beautiful wind chime that I'm going to hang up at the camper.

My mother invited me over to spend some time with her and I really enjoyed that.

Leo wished me a Happy Mother's Day and took me out to eat.

I had a good day.

My very best gift was having my children in church to worship with me Sunday...I just wish the other had been there.  I also received a huge basket of goodies from Daniel and he took me to dinner Thursday night (he always takes me early to avoid the rush.)  Paul gave me a new coffee pot.  Geni and Sharon bought me new praise and worship cds for my office or car.  Adam gave me a wonderful gift...he is sober and has been for 6 weeks now.   John, Jr. is doing my hardwood in my den and re-finishing my bathroom. 

I had an awesome day.  God has so blessed me and my children are doing well after so many years of battles.  PTL!!!!! 

My hubby and kids made me breakfast in bed and then gave me a gift certificate for a full day at the spa.  Manicure, pedicure, facial, full body massage, etc.  i am very excited to use it soon!
