On my morning walk, I think I saw God today

The birds were singing--(Robins and Mocking birds).  The grass in the yards along the neighborhood smelled and looked great!  At the end of my Cul-de-sac there is a small pond with ducks swimming and splashing.  The trees are beautiful.  I walked for 25 minutes.  This from a guy who was home bound and could hardly walk across a room a month ago.  Yeah, I'm almost sure I saw God today!!

I didnt walk this morning, my mornings are packed so i barely make it to work by 8, but i have walked up and down the stairs here and work about 7 times already :) 

Gary, this makes me want to get out and walk.  My boss has other ideas though.  Thank you for sharing your walk with me.

I didn't take a walk but I think I still saw God. I was driving through my neighborhood and saw so much damage done by the rising waters yesterday. Furniture out by the side of the street - dirt and leaves in the yards - fences knocked down by the force of the water but in the midst of all this damage - I saw the sun shining and neighbor helping neighbor. Yeah, I'm sure I saw God this morning!!!

Welcome to the Bama Board Gary. And I too am a Vol fan. My deceased hubby was from Shelbyville, TN and I guess I'll always be a Vol fan. Of course Auburn is my other favorite team.

Oh what a difference a month makes. I'm so happy for you. Keep up the good work. You have a lot of people on the board who prays for things like this to happen. I walked out the door at 6:30 and went and picked up my paper in the driveway. It was misting rain. I sat out on the porch swing  to read the paper. My next door neighbor has a cat with 4 new kittens. Miss Kitty brought the babies over to introduce to me. Four beautys. Two are mingled gray and two are black with the prettiest blue eyes. I couldn't even read the paper for watching them. The day has been full of miricles. The county sent a paver out to patch potholes on my road. If that doesn't qualify as a miricle nothing does. I love to walk on the beach I think WOW the vast ocean he created; every single oraganism is of his creation.
