Hi folks.  I am one week out on my RNY surgery.  I am trying to learn to navigate these sites, and have a profile set up at Obesitity help, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of action there, probably takes a while for folks to get to know you.  Can't get the chat to work.  Any way--hi and I hope to chat with some of you somehow!

Congrats on your surgery!  Hope everything is going well for you.  I don't know anything about the chat either, I just usually post & answer posts.

Hi and Welcome to the Bama Board!
Congrats on your weight loss journey! You'll find plenty of folks here who have had RNY so you're in good hands.

Your in for a complete life change although it takes time ..  I am 5 years out , no complications really and somedays I cant remember the OLD LARGER ME ,,,
One thing though, be sure to start out taking your MULTI VITS , calcium with D (YES ,EVEN MEN NEED THIS ) according to my dr after this surgery lol and the B-12 and iron .
If your faithful with these and eat your protein your middle name will be "SUCCESS"
