I was just wondering who all makes sweet tea?  I also have a question, who makes it with sugar and how much sugar do you use for a 64 oz pitcher?  Any time some one  drinks mine they tell me it is not sweet enough, I use 1/2 cup and it is plenty sweet to me.  I guess we have just gotten to used to that little bit. I am trying to cut the sugar even more. I just did not like the after taste of the all the artificial sweetners and the splenda.  Help me out please.

I have one of those Mr Ice Tea makers for each pitcher we use 1/4 of sugar and 2 tbl of spenda.  Have you tried truvia, it is not bad at all.

When I make sweet tea with real sugar or splenda, I use 1 1/2 cups of either.  My family like SWEET TEA~!  Hope this helps.    I use 4-5 family size tea bags for a gallon of tea.

Torey and Allison LOVE sweet tea and we have always made 1 gallon using 2 cups.  It depends on how sweet you like it I guess.

How are ya?  Enjoyed talking to you at the reunion.  Have a great week.

My family also likes 2 cups of sugar for 1 gallon of ice tea.
I hope this helps!

(Of course, I don't drink it!)

I always use 1/2 cup of splenda for 2qt pitcher of tea. I love my tea. everyone that drinks it says its not sweet enough, but its perfect for me.

I also found out that if i do not boil the splenda with the tea, like you do sugar.. it taste better. when i boiled it it gave it a funky after taste. ECK!
