I NEED MY BAMA FAMILY AND YOUR PRAYERS!

I am kinda being a whimp here but MY FAITH IS STRONG!  I just got a PERSONAL phone call from my cardiologist himself.  My stress test yesterday came back abnormal.  I had 4 heart bypasses in 1998 at 32 years old.  I have had 2 stent placements since then.  He does not like what he saw and by Friday I will be having a heart cath due to the abnormalities in the lower part of my heart.  

I NEED you to pray and intervene on my behalf. If you pray, please pray with me!  I have to get my eating back under control.  I have gained almost 20 pounds and I am going to do it.  My cholesterol is double what it was a year ago and I am and have been on the strongest dose of Lipitor (80 mg) so he is adding Zedia (spelling).  I am a little upset right now and Lucy has been trying to calm me down.  We've prayed together and we KNOW that everything is going to be ok. 

Just PLEASE pray with me.  I LOVE ALL OF YOU and I know our prayer warriors will step up to bat!

You and Lucy are in my thoughts and prayers. You know that it goes without saying that if you need anything, I am here. I think you also know that I
believe you are in the most capable hands where your care is concerned. Stay strong and try, hard as it is, to not let this cause you more stress before you have the cath. Try your best to relax and put your total trust in God and those that will be caring for you. This is just another bump in the road.

Don't be so hard on yourself about the eating. You have been through many changes over the past year. I gained about 7 lbs after Rich and I got married. Worse than the pounds my cholesterol went up because while I was not really eating a lot, I was not eating the right kind of thing. It took about a year to settle into the changes that had taken place in my life, and my focus came back. Even when we have happy changes like the ones you and I have had, they are changes all the same and it causes a break in what was our normal routine. Don't panic, you will get back on track and you will regain your focus. Enjoy life, enjoy Lucy and Allison and Torey and make one good food choice at a time. 
I've now lost those 7 lbs and then some and am about to have plastic surgery! (Which still really sounds weird when I say it! wooohooo)

I just "met you" from my post of introduction yesterday but wanted you to know that I will hold you and your family in my prayers.  God will bless you as you have already blessed so many others on here with your words of praise, devotion and encouragement!!

My dear Randy and Lucy,   Glenn and I went to bed praying for you and I woke up praying for you.  Yes, we are praying with you and for you.  Let's stand on God's promise that if as many as two or three agree in His name, you shall be healed.  There is a lot more than that agreeing to pray with you. so we know God is in control.  I found some cinnamon capsules so I am taking those to help control my cholesterol.  Eating a bowl of oatmeal everyday helps too.  These are things I have been doing and they work.  No, I don't eat oatmeal everyday but I did until got the cholesterol down enough to get off that med.  One down, several to go.
