Hello..an introduction
Hi,
I am Teresa, I have been on the OH site for a while and have come to the AL forum to read the post, but have never posted. I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone here lived around the Jasper/Cullman/Decatur area. I live in Winston county(grew up in Birmingham) so I am close to all three places. I do work in Jasper, so I am there more. I would like to find a really good support group to go to. There is one at the hospital where I work that I have been to, but it has been scheduled since then that I have been unable to attend due to work. I would like to know of several meetings, so if I miss one on a Monday night I can still go to one someplace else on Thursday.
I had the Realize band put in on 4/13 and so far so good!!
Anyway, I love reading the posts and the uplifting support that is given here. You just can't beat Southern hospitality and compassion, can you?? lol

Welcome to the Bama Board, Teresa!!!! I am not from your area, but I wanted to welcome you to the Board. Also, some of us will be getting together for dinner at Top of the River in Gadsden on May 30th. We would love for you to come and meet up with us. I wish you all the best in your new journey!!!!
We get together up there every once in a while just for some fellowship and to see each other. I feel as though I need to see my "family" from this board once in a while...just to hug them and talk for a minute. I honestly love so many here and I know you will too. These are some awesome people. I sure hope you can join us.
