OT- As the world turns <uugggh>

Ok, so they accepted our offer on the Millbrook house....Had the home inspection yesterday, awaiting verification on something with the roof, otherwise I think it'll be all good...................So friday night I'm trying to catch up with my 20yr old so he can have the garage door remote while we're gone to feed the dogs. I go to his apt and the truck is there. I knock onthe door and this GF of 10mos answers the door, tells me he's at work til 7. Ok, no biggie....I'm looking at her thinkin "dag she has put on ALOT of weight". now mind you she's about 5' and 100lbs soaking wet. I say to her "Ash, whats going on", she steps out, closes the door and sits on the door step. I looked at her again and said "Uh Ash you've put on more weight" and she looks at me straight faced and says "I'm pregnant", my response was "HUH" she says yeah 13wks....Ok, i'm moving 500 miles away in 2 mos and they are having a baby? what the heck!?!?!? Those two dont have a pot to pee in or a window to throw it out of. She lost her job, he works but only makes $7.50/hr...DH says if I bring their baby home he's leaving. He initiallly told me I could not give them one dime but has recanated on that one, but holy moly these kids are in a world of mess..........Please remember them in your prayers that things work out for them. My son as asked her to marry him, she said yes. So I "guess" thats a good thing. I dunno. Ok, what next????

Congrats on the new grandbaby. I hope everything works out for them. I know this is a stressfull time for all with you making a big move ect. Everyone will keep you in their prayers

Seems like you are facing many things I am facing right now...I too have one that is expecting and young...Then I have one that just had a little one 3 mos ago that we are moving several hundred of miles from and won't see often. 
Keep in mind one thing, God is in control.  This child has a purpose, a reason and is a blessing from God.  Although you may think the timing is bad, His timing is perfect.  It may not appear that way, but in the greater plan, it is. 
The best thing you and I can do for our kids is to daily pray for them and for the unborn baby.  Oftentimes we don't have the answers of "how" they are going to make it (financially), but as I said, God's got a plan for he cares for you, I and our families.

Hi Cathi,

Congratulations on the purchase of your home.  I live on the Gulf Coast, but have been to Millbrook once and it seems like a really nice place.  I know a very nice couple who lives there.  I met them through work and haven't been in touch with them for a while.  I hope don't lose your joy and peace you felt when you learned of your move to Alabama. 

I know this must be so hard finding this out when you're about to move away.  What Jackie said is true.  God does take care of the little ones and not matter how upsetting this is (I found out my daughter was 5 months pregnant her first year in college and she had not been to the doctor yet) the little ones are a blessing.  My grandson is going to be 7 years old in July, he has two little brothers, 4 years old and 16 months old.  My daughter married her then boyfriend, she was 19 years old and so was he.  He worked at a $7.00 per hour job and they did make it and they are doing GREAT.  Do what you can to help and I will keep them in my prayers, also you because I know your emotions are off the wall right now.  I hope your husband will continue to come around.

I'm so looking forward to the move and ya'll make it that much better. There is a chance I'll be coming down about a week before DH so that we can get our household good before the 4th of July weekend. I'll keep ya's posted.
