I feel your pain. It's such a roller coaster before surgery! I tell everyone that will listen that passing the psych visit is so they make sure you can deal with what you go through BEFORE surgery!!
Look on the bright side, YOUR INSURANCE HAS APPROVED YOU!! Since that is the biggest hurdle for many, you are one step ahead.
Sorry that I cannot recommend a surgeon in your area, just wanted to give you a word of encouragement.
