I Need A New Surgeon, PLS Help

I was just informed this morning that my surgeon is no longer doing RnY surgeries.  Mind you I have been approved for a few months now and just today I am told they won't do my surgery!?!?!?!  I don't know where to begin I have wasted several months waiting for them to give me a date!!  I don't even know where to begin, where to look (ok, that's why I'm asking here) I am so frustrated right now I could spit nails!!  My heart is so heavy and broken.

Please if you LOVED your surgeon and they perform RnY's please let me know. 

Call Dr. Freeman in Anniston. He is a wonderful surgeon who has people come from Washington state to have their surgery with him.  I know that it is a little drive for you, I am thinking maybe about a 3 hour drive, but it will be well worth it.  He has done a lot of the surgery on people that is on the Bama Board. If I can help you with anything just PM me and I will get back with you.  You can look at the top of the OH page and click on his name and go to his website.

There are also other Surgeons in Dothan. I chose to have mine in Dothan in case anything went wrong, I would be able to get there quick. If he is no longer doing the surgeries, there is a reason, look at this as a GOOD thing! Remember the when God closes a door saying!

Thank you and you are right and I am trying to look at it like that.  But at this point the bariatric co-ordinator is trying to get me into another surgeons office in B-ham.  But that is at least 4 -5 hours away, so Hubbins will have to spend 2 or 3 nights there and our children will need to stay with someone else.  I was really hoping to have a local surgeon.  Oh well......

I am with Louise I love love LOVE Dr Freeman and his staff. They are wonderful and so very helpful!

Well Ya need to spit dem nails out they will rust in yo mouth !! I used Dr Miles in Roebuck very good Doc ! I am just postive you will find one soon !! Just get to work on it and hurry !! If ya need me I am your Holla Girl ROTFL I really mean it !! Now get busy on the phone and let me know what Cha find out !! I have to go clean my towel again , I dusted you again !!

it's just the extra skin, it drives me nuts!! i'll be walking around somewhere in public (wal-mart, the mall... whatever) and think someone's patting my bottom only nobody's around. stoopid jiggly butt and thighs... stoopid stoopid stoopid so yeah my "figure" i've worked really hard for. i EARNED this, lols!!! but the loose skin? gimme a hacksaw baby 'cause it's commin' off!!! well maybe i won't do anything quite THAT drastic. but it's certainly crossed my mind a time or two!
