I just a got a part time job, the hours work for me, I get out of the house and get meet new people. So far so good, I also go to work to get away from the kids. Come on, I have four at home and need some adult conversation. Wouldn't you know it....I am surrounded by TEEN-AGERS!! I had to pop one on the hand my second day at work, just like one of my own!! WTH?!?!? At least they don't come home with and makes me grateful for how my kids behave. Small mercies!! LOL

Congrats on your job... good to have adult conversations even if it is away from your own kiddos.. I felt the same way... I owned a daycare for 10 years .. way too long.. I was beginning to think there was no other life among kids.. Others kids Monday - Friday and my own on the weekends.. Don't get me wrong.. I loved each and everyone of them.. but I'm so glad that I got out of the childcare business cuse I was so burnt out... BTW: Mind me asking what kind of job did accept? Wouldn't be in the Childcare profession would it?

OHH NOOOOOO.....no child care for me!! I don't hate kids, I just go to work to get away from them...LOL. It is a great little job at a local movie theater. The hours are great, I get to be home with the kids during the day and hubbins is with them at night. I am able to see them off to school and be there after school. The pay is minimum, but I don't smell like cig smoke (was a bartender in a past life.) The folks there are really nice, yes even the children and I think I will have a blast working there.
