To say a prayer or two for me. I've had a migraine since I went into the hospital earlier in the week and I have taken everthing over the counter. I can't get my script filled right now. So I am having to deal with this darn thing. Tomarrow is DH 40th birthday bash, after church and I can't feel this way nor can I go get my normal shot (finagrin and demerol mix) because I'll be out of my mind all day tomarrow. I'm sort of stuck and in severe pain. The Dr at the hospital said I would more than likely get this migraine due to change of meds but darn he didnt say it would be this bad!
Please continue to pray for me. Thanks! I love you all bunches!

susan, you know i get migraines all the time (had one just yesterday and the day before as a matter of fact!) so i can totally sympathize with ya... you don't think that if you went and got the demerol/phenergan shot right now that you'd have slept it off by morning? that's how i am. i'm usually right as rain by the time the sun comes up, just like nothing even happened! good luck to you sweetie, whatever you decide to do. i (literally) feel your pain (or even if you go up there and get a lortab to ease the pain or a phrenalin tablet? idk what meds you're on so idk about the conflicts/etc.)
Hey Amanda ,
Girl ya know what I'm talking about. This one is a bad one! I am suppose to be on MAXALT but being I dont exactly ahve the $125 right now....I'm downing Excedrain Mirgain pills. My shot makes me loopy for a good 24 hours. I mean as if I turned up a big bottle of te-kill-ya (tequilla, back in the day stuff...lol) I'm going to get up in the am take a nice hot shower and get to Dollar General and buy me a new bottle of Ex. Migrain meds and hope like the dickens that it will mellow out tha pain until at least 7pm. Thank you for your thoughts during this time.
How have you been doing? It really was great to meet you at the reunion. It was awsome to put faces, real faces, with the names. And I am sooooo happy that your Christmas was great (can't name names but your sponsor is a sweet loving wonderful person). My prayers remain with you as you search for a job. Hope your baby girl is doing well.
Thanks again, Susan

oh wow, that stinks that it affects you for so long. pain meds have never last very long for me, idk why... and i couldn't take excedrin even pre-op, lols!! it always upset my tummy. but ya know, whatever works for you! do what ya gotta do in times like this, lols.
i've been doing really well actually. pretty stressed out right now because it's the end of the semester and all but i'm alright. i'll be doing much better in a couple more weeks though, lol!!! (if i can just hold out a little bit longer...) and yeah, i had a really great time meeting everyone at the reunion too. it's so much better when you can actually talk to a person and get to know them instead of just relying on whatever they post on a message board.
and you're absolutely right! mine and kensie's sponsor is a dear sweet person and we appreciate the gesture more than anyone can imagine

I had almost forgotten that you too go to school! I can feel your pain on that one. I'm in my 5th term and still have at least 3 more to go! I get so burned out but I keep pushing bcuz I know that at the end I'll be a brighter more educated person and can get a better job. Keep up the good work!
